About me
Introduction
David currently enjoys a varied career: teaching, examining, writing and performing. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic he has also been involved in researching and creating resources and programmes to support students in their study of music, their progression from KS4 to KS5 to undergraduate study, and in their general development using music as a key resource, using online interaction and resources amongst over approaches.
Trained at the Royal College of Music in performance, music analysis, and conducting
Obtained a MMus in Musicology (Music Theory and Analysis) at Kings College London
Awarded a research scholarship from the University of London
Worked extensively as a composer: in chamber music, choral music, and music-theatre. In 2015 David formed the Starling Theatre Company
