I am a PhD researcher in Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, specialising in deep learning–based medical image analysis, reinforcement learning, and AI fairness, with multiple first‑author publications and invited talks at international conferences.
I completed my M.Res in Medical Robotics and Image‑Guided Intervention at Imperial College London, where I received the Hamlyn Prize, and previously earned my B.S. in Opto‑electronics Information Science and Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology with an Academic Excellence award.
During my postgraduate applications I received multiple Master’s offers from three G5 universities (UCL, Imperial) and later secured fully funded PhD offers from both the University of Edinburgh and King’s College London, so I have first‑hand experience of competitive G5 and PhD admissions.
Drawing on this background, I tutor students in essay and dissertation proofreading (structure, argument, language, and academic style) and provide tailored guidance on G5 university and PhD applications, including personal statements, research proposals, and interview preparation, with a supportive and detail‑oriented approach
