I am an experienced secondary school Chinese Language teacher from Hong Kong before relocating to the UK. Throughout my teaching career, I specialized in preparing senior secondary students for the GCSE, IGCSE, and GCE A-Level Chinese Language public examinations. In addition to classroom teaching, I was responsible for planning and designing a school-based curriculum tailored specifically to the requirements of these qualifications.

With extensive experience teaching senior students and developing targeted curricula for GCSE, IGCSE, and GCE A-Level Chinese Language, I am well equipped to support learners in achieving excellent results in these public examinations. My lessons are carefully planned to strengthen students' language proficiency while developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for examination success.

In addition to my teaching experience, I serve as an Examiner with Pearson Edexcel Education Limited, marking GCSE, IGCSE, and GCE A-Level Chinese Language examination papers. I have also been appointed as a Team Leader of Examiners, a role that reflects my expertise, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of assessment. As a Team Leader, I oversee and support examiners to ensure marking is accurate, consistent, and fully aligned with Pearson Edexcel's assessment standards.

These examining roles have given me a thorough understanding of the assessment process, examiners' expectations, common student mistakes, and the key strategies that lead to top grades. I bring this valuable examiner's perspective into every tuition session, helping students not only master the subject content but also develop effective examination techniques, structure their answers strategically, and meet the assessment criteria with confidence.

With the unique dual perspective of an experienced teacher, Examiner, and Team Leader of Examiners, I provide students with both a strong foundation in the Chinese language and the advanced examination skills needed to excel under formal assessment conditions. My goal is to help every student maximize their potential, build confidence, and achieve outstanding results in their Chinese Language examinations.
