Work experience:
For me, one of the most valuable things to do in life is to inspire the people around us. And this is why I tutor - it’s the perfect opportunity to explore my passions myself, whilst igniting the same feeling in others.
Here are some things about me:
1) I graduated from Imperial College London with 1st Class Honours (masters) studying science and engineering 🔬
2) Academically, I was awarded the Rolls Royce and Armourers and Brasier’s Award for being one of the most outstanding performances in final year 🌟
3) I also teach music production classes every week with Imperial College London, working as a freelance songwriter and producer in my free time 🎵
With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of guiding students to achieve academic success in a variety of subjects. I have worked with students of various age groups and grade levels, from pre-GCSE to A-Level, tailoring my approach to meet their individual needs. For example, I helped my most recent tutee improve their GCSE Maths grade from a C to an A in 6 months.
My proudest feedback is how patient and empathetic I am, fostering a supportive learning environment – something that is extremely important to me, given my own learning style. Utilising a range of teaching methods and resources, including worksheets and digital demonstrations (for online lessons), I have consistently witnessed my students make remarkable progress. What sets me apart as a tutor is not only my knowledge but also my passion for empowering students to reach their full potential.
From academic classes, to music lessons, to military training (I did 5 years in the Royal Marine Cadet Force), I am committed to helping each student I work with succeed and am excited to continue on this learning journey!
