I am a PhD student at Imperial College London, specialising in Chemical Biology and Bioentrepreneurship. I have completed my MSci and MRes degrees at Imperial College London. My academic journey has been deeply rooted in chemistry and biochemistry, supported by a strong research background and multiple pharmaceutical R&D internships at AstraZeneca and Etern Therapeutics. These experiences have given me both scientific depth and real-world perspective, which I bring into my teaching.

My tutoring approach focuses on building a solid conceptual foundation and encouraging analytical thinking. I believe students learn best when they understand why things work, not just how. I use clear explanations, structured study plans, and tailored practice to make complex topics approachable. I particularly enjoy helping students connect chemistry to biological systems, bridging theory with application.

I have successfully tutored three undergraduate chemistry students at Imperial College London, all of whom achieved significant academic improvement and were later recognised on the Dean’s List for outstanding achievement. Earlier in my academic career, I received a Secondary Prize in the Chinese Chemistry Olympiad, an experience that strengthened my problem-solving ability and passion for scientific learning.

My goal as a tutor is to inspire curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking — helping students not only excel academically, but also appreciate the creativity and logic that make chemistry such a fascinating subject.
