Educational Background
Professional Experience
I am Bonnie, a graduate of the Digital Humanities Department at King's College London, holding a master's degree and successfully completing my doctoral defense. My expertise encompasses academic writing tutoring and professional guidance in subjects such as art, humanities, and sociology for students. At King's College London, I am responsible for tutoring undergraduate students in the BA Digital Culture module and undertake the task of reviewing student theses. I have previously received the Outstanding GTA (Graduate Teaching Assistant) award for undergraduate teaching. I have accumulated extensive experience in doctoral applications in the fields of media studies, social media, sociology, and anthropology. I have successfully guided numerous master's students, assisting them in the successful completion of their studies. For instance, I guided a student in using short video platforms to preserve cultural heritage, ultimately leading to their successful acceptance of a doctoral offer from the University of Warwick. In my teaching approach, I focus on stimulating students' independent thinking abilities, actively encouraging the cultivation of their learning interests, and dedicatedly uncovering and developing their potential. Could stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, draw analogies to generalize concepts, integrate theory with practice, and help students establish positive study habits, clear learning objectives, as well as effective study methods and attitudes. These efforts and contributions have earned me high praise from my students.
