Hello, I’m Hailey, a dedicated mathematics teacher currently working at a public secondary school in London. I hold a PGCE with QTS in Secondary Mathematics from Durham University, which qualifies me to teach in the UK. Before moving to London, I accumulated extensive experience teaching A-level and GCSE mathematics in China.

My teaching journey has been marked by a passion for making mathematics accessible and engaging for all students. I excel at breaking down complex mathematical concepts into smaller, more understandable parts. This approach not only helps students grasp difficult topics but also builds their confidence in the subject. By using clear, step-by-step explanations, I make challenging problems more manageable and less intimidating for my students.

One of my strengths is my ability to establish strong, positive relationships with my students. I believe that understanding each student’s unique needs and learning styles is crucial for effective teaching. This rapport allows me to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their difficulties.
