Holly I.

I have seven years' experience of teaching English as a foreign language to children of all ages and IELTs classes to adults. I have been lucky enough to teach in Beijing, where musical theatre, movement and creativity were central to my classes. I have also taught in Paris and London. I love to learn new languages and I am at an upper intermediate level of French and can speak basic Mandarin.

I have three different teaching qualifications, all specialised in teaching English as a foreign language. I am also studying a Master's degree in International Development at the University of Edinburgh and have a 2:1 undergraduate degree in English Literature.

I am most proud of the progress my students make in terms of their confidence and reading. They tend to be levels above their expected reading level and confident in expressing themselves, whilst being able to have fun learning in my classes.
