I have an MA from the University of Cambridge, specializing in Pure Mathematics. My mathematical proficiency was recognized early on at a national level. I scored within the top 30 in the British Mathematical Olympiad and was invited onto its national training courses.

I teach students the mathematical and reasoning skills they need to achieve academic success (A*) and gain entry to elite institutions. Not only the skills they already know they need, but also the skills I see that they need as I work with them!

To identify and teach the necessary skills, I draw on three things:
- Four years of training in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge by world-class mathematics professors and mathematicians.
- Decades of experience tutoring up to post-graduate. I've mastered how to provide exactly what's needed to reach the next level.
- Skill in communicating complex information to diverse audiences and being sensitive to what each individual is hearing. This has developed throughout my professional career, across software development, data science, business intelligence, commercial analysis, re-branding, digital user engagement, online media audience development, collaborative music performance (Instrumental Award Scheme at University of Cambridge; Oxford Cello School; Royal Academy of Music), and musical Directing/Coaching.

My teaching style uses real exam material to train for students to know what to do when faced with any challenge in a test. I combine rule-based familiarity training with mastery of the concepts so that they won't need to learn a different method for every question and also how to choose the appropriate method; instead I develop in them the deep understanding of the mathematical content and the flexibility they need in order to solve problems they have not encountered before.
