Jack Junqi Z.

I have worked as a Research Specialist at the PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University, and Institute of New Structural Economics, Peking University for nearly four years. The research interests include corporate finance, asset pricing, development finance and commodities.

Nowadays, I am currently pursuing a PhD in Finance at Renmin University of China. Before pursuing doctoral research at Renmin University of China, I did doctoral research at the University of Macau for one year and was awarded a full UMPA scholarship. I have also received an offer of PhD in finance from the University of Bath.

During my academic journey, I have actively engaged with several prestigious institutions worldwide. I participated in the written tests and interviews for doctoral programs in business at the University of Leuven, the University of Groningen, the French ESCP Business School, the University of Maastricht, the University of Radboud, the University of Bath, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Fudan University.

Furthermore, I hold a Master's degree in Computational Finance from the Department of Computer Science at University College London (UCL), UK, and a First Class degree in Financial Mathematics (with honors) from the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sheffield, UK. I also got the Sheffield Graduate Award.

My professional experience extends beyond academia. I have been offered admission as a management trainee at the head office of China Merchants Bank, worked as a credit analyst at a Belgian KBC Bank in Shanghai Lujiazui, served as a research assistant at Parker Fitzgerald, a subsidiary of Accenture Consulting in the UK, and worked as a teaching assistant at the Confucius Institute at the University of Sheffield in the UK. I have also interned at China Southern Fund, Huatai Securities Headquarters, and Anxin Securities Industry Research Institute.

Given my diverse background and expertise, I am well-equipped to provide guidance for undergraduate and graduate courses in business-related subjects, particularly in the field of corporate governance. Additionally, I can offer valuable insights into career planning within China's financial industry.
