I'm Jerry Chen, a final year clinical medical student at the University of Cambridge. I have a BA degree from Cambridge in Biological Anthropology following completion of the pre-clinical Medical Sciences Tripos. I am a friendly and keen communicator who is eager to help students navigate their studies and preparations for university while supporting them to achieve their full potential.
I have experience advising students on Oxbridge and medical admissions, including admissions tests and interviews, drawing upon my own experiences and that of my peers. For my own medicine application, I attained a UKCAT score of 840 average and received offers to all four UK medical schools applied to (Cambridge, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee).
I have been teaching in various forms since 2015, including most recently as a Peer Clinical Supervisor at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, where I have prepared and delivered interactive sessions for other clinical medical students in earlier stages of the course.
While I have lived all my life in the United Kingdom, I am able to speak Chinese (Mandarin) fluently and can read and write to a very good level.
