I am a product manager with experience in consulting, digital strategy, education, UI/UX, risk. I grew up in Shanghai in an international American School and studied at the University of Sydney. Previously, I've worked at Kumon and Pano Education where I taught English.

Growing up as an expat and international school student, I know all too well the struggles of juggling between different cultures and languages. I can speak Chinese and English fluently, which allows me to understand the nuances between the two languages, helping students better understand how sentences and phrases are structured in English. Whilst it's important to study grammar rules, I think it's more important to help students become more comfortable and gain confidence in learning a second language so I like to converse with my students in class by encouraging them to talk more, have deep conversations and also edit their homework essays where I can provide immediate feedback for their writing structure, ideas and grammar.
