I’m a former Head of Department at a private preparatory school and have experience teaching all the way up to A Level in a secondary state in inner London. I completed my undergraduate degree in Fine Art with Philosophy, Politics and Art History as my minor. I then went on to complete my PGCE in Art & Design Secondary Education at Goldsmiths College, University of London where I was graded ‘outstanding’ for my teaching practice.
This year I secured students 7 Art Scholarships and Exhibitions to prestigious private Senior Schools, including 3 to Shrewsbury School. I enjoy supporting students through the portfolio process and I can help you with your interview preparation, observational drawing practice and teach you how to confidently talk through your work and find strong contextual links.
I have also supported students in winning numerous local art competitions and I am knowledgeable about current exhibitions and work that you should see.
My ethos is that personalisation is key, both in my practice within the classroom, but even more so as a 1:1 tutor. Any questions please feel free to contact me.
