Hello! I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor with a strong background in finance and risk management. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Finance at the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading, supported by a full-scale scholarship. My research focuses on sustainability, energy transition, weather insurance pricing, and 24/7 baseload PPA risk solutions.
I hold an MSc in Financial Risk Management from the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, where I graduated with distinction. I also have a BSc in Electronic Commerce from Shenyang Ligong University, with an equivalent UK grade of 2:1. Additionally, I completed a summer school program in International Business at King’s College London, achieving a distinction.
As an Associate Lecturer in Finance at the ICMA Centre, I have taught various finance-related modules, including Securities and Investments, Portfolio Management, Financial Instruments, Risk Valuation, and Econometric Analysis for Finance. My teaching style is interactive and student-centred, focusing on practical applications and real-world examples to enhance understanding and engagement. I offer in-class and after-class Q&A sessions and provide personalised support during office hours.
I am proficient in Python for climate impact modeling and financial derivatives analytics, climate reanalysis, subseasonal-to-seasonal forecasting data processing and visualization, and advanced in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, and Thomson Reuters.
