I'm a Molecular Bioengineering student taking electives in Software Engineering for Bioengineers, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, and Molecular and Cellular Mechano transduction. I am active in my university, with a leadership role as a Wellbeing Representative for two years in a row. I also work as an Recruitment and Outreach Student Ambassador which means I interact with prospective students at events and Q&As and I have also worked as an Academic Mentor at the Y12 Sutton Trust Summer School. I have taken part in mathematical challenges, including UKMT, achieving two silver and one gold certificate, and the Cayley contest which I received a distinction. My teaching techniques include practice questions with guiding prompts, discussing the thought process throughout to help the student, then a final walkthrough with feedback. I did a dual diploma at my secondary school in Canada (Ontario and IB diplomas) and I did my IGCSEs at an International school in Qatar which means I have been exposed to many teaching styles and I am open to discussing what works best for the student.
