Total Experience to date: I estimate I have delivered around 2000 hours of 1:1 and small group tuition since 2015. I have been a full time tutor since graduating from the University of Manchester in 2020, averaging around 20 hours a week of both online and in person tuition. I have taught Mathematics and Physics extensively, as well as preparing many students for Grammar School and University Entrance exams.
Current Work: The majority of my students have been obtained through independent sources, however I also work with tuition agencies based in Manchester and internationally. I have been conducting all of my private lessons online for over a year, so I am well equipped for online tuition, with a high speed internet connection and other hardware/software to make the experience equal to if not better than tuition in person.
What I teach: I have taught students taking GCSE/IGCSE, A Level, Pre-U and grammar school exams. During my time as a tutor, I have covered all of the major exam boards for A level and GCSE, including AQA, OCR A&B, Edexcel and WJEC/EDUQAS. I can tutor for any exam board and any syllabus. I also assist with UCAS applications, personal staments, entrance exams and any other challenges that a student might enter for e.g. PAT,ENGAA or Mathematics challenges.

BSc (Hons) Physics 09/17 – 06/20
Honours level courses included Electromagnetism, Solid State Physics, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Special Relativity and Advanced Dynamics.
I was also involved in extensive lab work during the degree, notable experiments I carried out include measuring how the radioactivity of several different materials decays over time, as well as building a triode, an electronic amplifying vacuum tube, from scratch.
Friendly and professional Maths and Physics tutor, with experience teaching in schools and one to one.
Through my time studying Physics at the University of Manchester I developed a range of analytical skills which I communicate to my students, allowing them to learn independently and break up any challenging questions into manageable chunks.
A student preparing for his AS Maths and Physics exams began lessons just after Christmas. His mock examinations showed a B in Maths and C in Physics. After tutoring, he achieved an A* in Maths and an A in Physics, he then studied Physics at Manchester University.
