About me
Introduction
My teaching career is very varied. I have made it an aim to acquire new experiences and qualifications throughout my working life and adding online tutoring is a continuation of that. Probably he 'height' of my career is my appointment as a secondary school adviser for Oxfordshire. However, I prefer to consider my work in the classroom as the greater achievement and I made a conscious decision to return to that rather than pursue working with the inspectorate. In my last post I was awarded Best Head of Department by Surrey CC. My success is based on a love for my subject and a deep gratitude for the honour of working with young people. That sounds high flown but I firmly believe teaching is an honorable profession requiring only the highest standards. As far as online tutoring is concerned I commit to delivering praise, encouragement and enthusiasm with strong attention to detail
