I have a BSc (Hons) degree and a post graduate qualification (PGCE) in secondary science education. I have been a science teacher teaching in high schools, including Haberdashers’ school in Hertfordshire, for 29 years. I was a head of year for 5 years and work experience coordinator. After having my second child, I set up my own science tuition business. I am fortunate to be completely full of work, after school every day and on weekends and get my work through word of mouth. I am, however, available for science tutoring work in the daytime but also to tutor internationally across zoom.
I pride myself on my years of experience and allowing all my students to gain a great deal of confidence and enjoy their lessons, whilst at the same time, students achieving grades beyond their expectations. We look closely at exam technique as well as being able to apply knowledge successfully.
