Having an MSc, BSc, CELTA and over 11 years of work experience, including over 8 years working in schools, and 1 year teaching online, I feel I can bring a lot to your school. During the coronavirus pandemic, I taught 1-2-1 classes to students in China, which allowed me to use a variety of videoconferencing software to hold classes. In addition, I have worked in training centres and international schools in China, and ran my own training centre in north-east China. While working in training centres, I won ‘employee of the month’ twice and through my hard work was promoted to head of English. During my time in international schools, I taught: IGCSE English as a second language, IGCSE geography, IGCSE History, IELTS, TOEFL, ACT AP course and DEXCEL primary English. I also spent a year teaching in several primary schools in Sheffield, England. I am also reasonably fluent in spoken Chinese.
