I finished my MA in TESOL In-service at UCL last September. Right now I am based at a local secondary school(outstanding) as a maths supply teacher. Before coming to UCL, I had nearly four years of EFL/ESL experience in Shanghai, China. As a language teacher, I mainly taught IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT courses to high-end students from primary school to college level. Most students meet their targeted scores after training. During 2020 and 2021, I delivered online courses through Zoom and other online platforms, such as Class-In and WeChat. Moreover, I also have experience in teaching adult second language learners. In 2019, I worked as a freelance business English trainer for SAIS Maxus, which is an automobile manufacturing company. I went there each week to improve their employees’ oral English under business circumstances. From 2016 to 2017, I worked as a local teacher in Web Education Group and delivered 1V1 classes and 1V20 courses to adult language learners. In summary, I have abundant EFL/ESL teaching experience, learners range from school students to working adults. I get along well with all kinds of students, and the performance of students has improved significantly.
