I am a graduate from the University of Oxford with a keen interest in public law and human rights. I have secured a training contract with the Government Legal Department which I will commence in September 2024.
I have experience tutoring high school students in a range of subjects (Maths, English, Biology, French) in the past (2015-2019). In the recent past (2019-2023), I have focused on tutoring and mentoring high school students seeking to study law at university as well as undergraduate university students in the core legal modules.
I have a passion for tutoring law which is evident during my tuition sessions and has resulted in high praise from clients. My lessons seek to achieve the following objectives:
1. help the student achieve their goals, whether that may be securing a place at a university or improving their grade.
2. challenge the student by expanding and deeming their understanding of the law.
3. demonstrate why studying law is an exciting and interesting matter through anecdotes and case studies depending on the student’s own interests.
I have particular enjoyed taking one of my students through the Oxbridge application process (from personal statement to interview prep) following which she obtained an offer to study law at Oxford. I also take great satisfaction in seeing my students improve over the course of sessions together.
My passion for law and sharing this passion through teaching means I am actively looking to expand my client-base and take on more students whom I can work with and inspire.
