I hold a Bachelor's degree (GPA 3.80/4.00) with honours in Computer Science from Beijing University of Technology, with one year at the University at Buffalo (GPA 4.00/4.00), the State University of New York, and one year at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (GPA 9.3/10.0). I also hold a MSc in Advanced Computing with Distinction (GPA 71/100) from Imperial College London.
I am now in the final stage of my PhD in Applied Computing, fully funded by an EU project, and I am expected to graduate in spring 2025.
I have a great enthusiasm for teaching, especially in Computer Science and Mathematics, with five years of teaching experience in higher education institutions. This includes one year at BJUT (teaching Object-Oriented Programming), four years in the Department of Computer Science at Brunel University London, and over 500 hours of Teaching Assistant experience in Computer Science.
I have over 500 hours of experience as a graduate teaching assistant in Computer Science in the UK, therefore can teaching in both Chinese and English (IELTS 7.5).
