I am a highly experienced university lecturer and private tutor with over 10 years of experience. Originally from Australia, I now live in the United Kingdom and have taught both in-person and online all over the world.
In terms of my qualifications, I hold a PhD in political science and policy studies, a Masters in Politics and a Bachelors (with distinction) in English, History, Philosophy and Politics. My teaching approach involves getting students to think more critically in order to develop long-term skills that will enable success in future subjects/assessments. Rather than simply revising the subject matter, I encourage students to consider what is being asked of them (i.e. what is the question really asking) and then work with the student to determine how is best to tackle the questions/problems at hand. Lastly, for students who are interested in improving their English writing skills, I will include various aspects of English learning (academic writing, creative writing, and everyday English) in order to improve their overall skills.
