I’m Edward, an optimistic and kind person. Listening is a skill I practice enabling me to adapt to students' needs. My teaching style comprises enthusiasm, patience, and a student-centered approach.
 

My teaching experience is rooted in teaching Chinese students English as a foreign language. Beginning as a British Council English Language Assistant in Beijing, I moved to Chengdu in 2018 and currently teach IELTS Speaking courses as a part-time English lecturer at Chengdu University. In total, I have 6 plus years of teaching experience (3 years in China), and as a result, I'm well-versed in understanding Chinese students' learning needs. 

I also have a degree in Fashion & Textile Retailing (BSc) from the University of Manchester. Furthermore, I have 5 plus years of fashion industry/ fashion branding experience spanning design, tailoring, retailing, marketing and merchandising.
