My name is Haf, a visual artist and arts professional with a decade of experience working in the international art scene. I have a multidisciplinary approach to art-making but am interested in alternative historical perspectives, Southeast Asian crafts and the diasporic objects as well as textiles and the expanded notion of painting. Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I am now based in Oxford, UK and London. I initially studied at Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, US before completing my undergrad degree in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, UK. I recently completed an MFA with distinction at the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University, Oxford, UK. I have worked for a number of commercial art galleries in London and Kuala Lumpur while maintaining an active art practice.
