About me
Introduction
I'm currently a 4th Year Dentistry student at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry (Queen Mary University of London).
As a Senior Student Ambassador for the university, I have extensive experience in helping GCSE and A Level students with the Medicine and Dentistry application process - including UCAT, personal statement writing, work experience, and interview skills. Many of these students proceed to receive offers for Medicine and Dentistry - some have even started studying at Barts and are now my peers!
I endeavour to make my sessions engaging and interactive, to facilitate more effective learning. Being in a patient-facing role as well as mentoring with a wide range of students as Student Ambassador, I am able to tailor my teaching and communication style to best suit each individual student.
Having been elected as a British Dental Association (BDA) Student Representative, I engage in meetings with the BDA council alongside students and dentists from around the UK. This allows me to stay up-to-date with the latest changes and affairs within the dental profession, which in turn can be passed on to my students to best prepare them for interviews and beyond.
