I am an experienced biology and chemistry tutor having taught full time in Hong Kong for 18 months. I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2014 with a MSci in Natural sciences, focusing on chemistry and chemical biology for both my undergraduate and master’s. As a tutor I advocate a holistic rather than modular approach to learning, helping my students (where appropriate) make connections between both biology and chemistry. By appreciating fundamental concepts and applying them in an unfamiliar context, students will gain a skill that is valued by many top universities – irrespective of the subject studied. I have significant experience in developing and delivering bespoke teaching plans for the 11+, 13+, 13+ CASE, school entrance and scholarship examinations in both mathematics and science. This includes Wycombe Abbey, Eton King’s Scholarship, The King’s School Canterbury, Sevenoaks, Dulwich College and Whitgift School.
