I am a PhD student in mathematics at the University of British Columbia, specializing in applied maths. (non-newtonian fluid mechanics) I have been tutoring since 2021, primarily in applied mathematics, and my tutees have consistently achieved first-class results. Since 2023, I have also worked as a teaching assistant at UBC, contributing to various first-, second-, and third-year mathematics courses.
I strive to help students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts rather than just learning problem-solving techniques for exams. I enjoy discussing the underlying philosophy of each course to build up fundamental appreciation of the subject.
