May Ho is the Founder of artwhich®, a sustainability and L&D consultancy, Vice-Chair of Grange Primary School Newham Governing Board, Educator, and Researcher holding a deputy course directorship/lectureship in management at Coventry University London and an external examinership at Suffolk/Gloucestershire. May also serves as an Assessor for the University of Cambridge online courses.

May’s research interests are engagement, sustainability, and landscape management. May contributes to academic research, e.g., QAA-funded Assessment Literacy, is a Co-Editor of “Sustainable Development and Business Transformation” (Springer Nature), and is a Peer Reviewer for “Technological Sustainability Journal” (Emerald), “Social Responsibility Journal” (Emerald), “Green Metrics in Higher Education” (Springer Nature), Editorial Assistant for “International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management” (Emerald). May was part of the review committee for the University of Doha for Science and Technology 2025 International Conference. She served as Session Chair and Academic Presenter, presenting her research at the SRRNet International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility in Cairo and the AMPS Conference—New Schools of Thought, Part of the Focus on Pedagogy Series in Los Angeles. May also presented at the Advanced HE Teaching and Learning Conference 2025. She writes articles exploring tech-driven strategies for digital newspapers and magazines. Her sustainability leadership capacities and mindfulness research will be published in the SRRNet conference book.

May has 14+ years of management and leadership experience in customer success, corporate responsibility, diversity and inclusion, and learning in management consulting, information services, technology advisory, arts and heritage, and non-profit sectors in London and Hong Kong SAR. May led sustainability projects across industries, including financial/professional services, design/manufacturing, and consulting. May also has 8+ years of experience mentoring/coaching in corporate/scale-up, education, and non-profits, e.g. CMI Women Leadership programmes at SERC, which positively boosted women leaders’ confidence in presenting ideas/driving change in their organisations.

May is a CMI Chartered Manager Fellow, an Advance HE Fellow (PGCert in Academic Practice in HE, Distinction from CU), holds an MA in Managing Archaeological Sites, Distinction from UCL, an MSt in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and is a University of Oxford MSc in Applied Landscape Archaeology Candidate.
